Biography
Yuan Jie, MD. He received his bachelor's degree from the School of Stomatology, Shanghai Second Medical University in 2000, and his doctoral degree in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine in 2006. He subsequently joined the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital, and currently serves as Associate Chief Physician. From July 2011 to July 2012, he was awarded funding by the Plastic Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association for study in the United States and completed one year of advanced training at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, NYU Langone Medical Center, Brigham and Women's Hospital of Harvard University, and the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia of the University of Pennsylvania. He has developed in-depth knowledge of current advances and clinical diagnostic and therapeutic skills in plastic and reconstructive surgery and the craniomaxillofacial specialty. He is a member of the International Society of Craniofacial Surgery (ISCFS). His clinical focus includes various types of facial contour reshaping and reconstructive treatment of congenital craniofacial deformities and trauma. In aesthetic surgery, he is skilled in comprehensive rhinoplasty, eye aesthetic surgery, and body contouring.
